How to Import eToro Trades into EdrisFinance

Step-by-step guide to exporting your complete trade history from eToro and importing it into EdrisFinance for stocks, crypto, and CFD performance analysis.

eToro is one of the world's most popular social trading platforms, offering stocks, crypto, commodities, and CFDs to millions of traders. EdrisFinance supports full eToro trade history import via the Account Statement export — giving you the deep performance analytics that eToro's built-in tools don't provide.

What You Need

  • An eToro account with trade history
  • Access to Portfolio → History in eToro
  • An EdrisFinance account (free or PRO)

Step 1: Log in to eToro

Go to etoro.com and log in with your credentials. Use the web platform (not the mobile app) for the export — the download option is only available on desktop.

Step 2: Go to Your Account Statement

  1. Click your Portfolio icon in the left sidebar
  2. Select the History tab
  3. Click Account Statement in the top-right area of the page

This opens eToro's statement generator.

Step 3: Generate and Download the Statement

  1. Set the start date and end date for the period you want
  2. Click Create
  3. eToro will generate an Excel file (.xlsx) containing your full account statement
  4. Download it when prompted

Tip: eToro's statement includes all activity — trades, dividends, fees, and deposits. EdrisFinance automatically filters and imports only the closed trade entries.

Step 4: Import into EdrisFinance

  1. Go to EdrisFinance → Ledger
  2. Click Import
  3. Select eToro as your broker
  4. Upload the .xlsx account statement file

EdrisFinance parses the closed positions from the statement and imports them automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are stocks, crypto, and CFDs all supported? Yes. EdrisFinance imports all asset classes from the eToro statement — stocks (real and CFD), crypto, commodities, indices, and currency pairs.

What about Copy Trading positions? Copy Trading positions are included in the eToro Account Statement and will be imported as individual trades. You can filter or tag them separately in EdrisFinance using the Journal.

Can I import multiple years of history? Yes — generate a statement covering your full history and import it in one go. For very long periods, you can also split by year and import each separately (duplicates are handled automatically).

Are dividends imported? No. EdrisFinance focuses on trade P&L. Dividends, deposits, and withdrawals in the statement are ignored during import.

The eToro app doesn't have an export option — what do I do? Use the web platform at etoro.com on a desktop browser. The Account Statement export is only available there.
